The parking situation is frustrating!!! Only six paid spots available and you have to reserve in advance. Bathroom locks are temperamental, and the soundproofing is dreadful. Walls are thin, making it hard to enjoy any peace.

I almost thought this place would be decent, but the lock on the bathroom was worse than a prison cell, and the noise echoed through walls like a concert hall. A complimentary gesture woudl ve been a nice touch, but I just felt like another guest. So dissapointing!

great location

staying at hostal solimar was pleasant. it's just a short 7-8 minute walk to the metro station, making it easy to hop into barcelona. the staff were super friendly and helpful, ensuring we felt welcomed during our stay. plus, there's a nice beach nearby with cafes to enjoy.

Decent spot but noisy neighbors

My fam stayed for 2 nights. Initial room was kinda cramped and smelly, but they moved us after our first night, which was cool. The kitchen area was nice for a quick breakfast. Just a bummer that the walls are thin, and we heard everything from next door! Great location near the beach though.

Had a nice stay for 3 nights and loved the clean room with fresh towels every day. The relaxing garden area provided a great chill spot, and the WiFi was solid for planning our days. Just a bit of noise from adjacent rooms was noticeable, but it didn’t spoil the vibe! 😊
